Salesforce Commerce Cloud Expert (Frontend – LWC/LWR)

Overview

This role focuses on building a high-quality, enterprise-grade storefront experience on Salesforce Commerce Cloud using LWR and LWC, with strong emphasis on UI engineering quality, design fidelity, performance optimisation, and seamless integration with commerce systems. The expert is expected to translate Figma specifications into reusable components, ensure accessibility compliance, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across UX, product, backend, and commerce.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance storefront pages on Salesforce Commerce Cloud using LWR, LWC, and platform guardrails.

• Convert Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect, reusable UI components.

• Ensure mobile-first, accessible (WCAG-aligned) layouts with strong attention to typography, spacing, grid, and interaction states.

• Optimise client-side rendering, bundle size, asset delivery, and overall frontend performance.

• Collaborate with UX, product, and backend teams to validate designs and integrate data, content, and personalization.

• Maintain reusable component libraries following strict coding and styling guidelines.

• Conduct UI reviews, cross-browser testing, regression validation, and storefront release QA.

• Support CI/CD workflows and follow modern Git practices.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of frontend development experience, ideally with 1–2+ years in Salesforce Commerce Cloud or LWC/LWR implementations.

• Strong hands-on expertise in LWR, LWC, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern UI architecture.

• Proficiency in converting Figma design systems into scalable component architectures.

• Experience with accessibility standards, semantic markup, and responsive design.

• Strong debugging capability across browsers and devices.

• Familiarity with Salesforce B2C Commerce APIs, composable storefront models, or headless commerce.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, code quality tools, SEO basics, and performance profiling.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/CS or equivalent experience.
