We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Benefits Consultant to lead the configuration, governance, and rollout of a global benefits catalogue within SuccessFactors. This role will play a critical part in standardising benefits eligibility, cost transparency, and employee experience across multiple countries. The consultant will work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and regional stakeholders to ensure accurate benefits setup, reporting, and ongoing governance. This is a contract role with strong potential for extension, offering flexibility for on-site or fully remote engagement.
Configure and manage SuccessFactors EC Benefits, including the creation of a global benefits catalogue covering medical, life, disability, voluntary benefits, flexible benefits, company car, taxable benefits-in-kind, and annual leave, with country-specific variations
Design and implement benefit entitlement, election, and contribution structures, including opt-out options and alternative benefit choices
Set up and maintain benefit cost configurations using unit rate or percentage-based cost-sharing models, ensuring readiness for annual renewals and premium updates
Enable and manage dependent changes, life events, and annual enrollment processes, integrating benefits seamlessly with onboarding and core HR workflows
Define and execute eligibility rules by country and employee population, ensuring mandatory data fields are captured and data gaps are resolved
Establish reporting and analytics for benefits participation, payroll and pension contributions, fleet and benefit changes, and total reward cost visibility
Own and define the benefits governance model, including maintenance ownership, SLAs for renewals and life events, and structured change management processes
Identify potential risks related to data quality, timelines, premium updates, and budget, and implement mitigation strategies and testing plans prior to go-live
Coordinate delivery milestones including catalogue build, eligibility mapping, reporting setup, testing cycles, and Phase 1 go-live, while tracking configuration accuracy and adoption metrics
Partner with internal communications teams to support employee-facing materials such as intranet updates, FAQs, and guidance on accessing benefits in SuccessFactors
Minimum 6 years of experience in HRIS or HR Technology roles, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience configuring SuccessFactors EC Benefits across multiple countries
Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale benefits implementations, including eligibility rules, life events handling, and annual enrollment cycles
Strong functional understanding of employer and employee contribution models, payroll and pension integrations, and benefits cost reporting
Proven ability to establish governance frameworks, manage change processes, and oversee vendors for ongoing benefits operations
Advanced data analysis, validation, and testing skills, with a strong focus on data quality and readiness before system go-live
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across HR, Payroll, Finance, and regional teams
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline; SuccessFactors EC certifications are preferred
