We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant for an onsite engagement in Pune. This role focuses on end-to-end ABAP development, enhancement, and support activities, working closely with functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions. The position requires a hands-on professional who can work independently in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment and support critical project requirements.
Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF)
Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Develop and support custom objects using ABAP, ALV Reports, BAPI, RFC, IDocs, SmartForms, and SAP Scripts
Participate in unit testing, UAT support, and production issue resolution
Ensure proper technical documentation and adherence to coding standards and best practices
5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development
Strong experience in custom development and enhancements
Ability to work independently in an onsite environment
Availability for Monday to Friday onsite work in Pune, 8–9 hours per day
Experience handling short-term or critical project deliverables
