This role focuses on managing and supporting Illumio-based microsegmentation solutions across enterprise environments. The professional will be responsible for policy management, agent operations, troubleshooting, and ongoing run/BAU support across Linux, Windows, and AIX platforms. The position also involves close involvement in operational stability, automation, monitoring, and audit readiness within production and development environments.
Manage Illumio PCE and VEN lifecycle activities, including installation, upgrades, compatibility, and end-of-support planning
Configure, write, review, and maintain Illumio microsegmentation and firewall policies for on-prem and cloud workloads
Monitor VEN health, connectivity, and policy synchronization across multiple operating systems
Perform run/BAU operational activities such as monitoring, incident handling, health checks, and day-to-day support
Troubleshoot connectivity issues, alerts, and operational failures across Illumio environments
Support L1, L2, and L3 incidents, service requests, changes, and problem management
Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, reporting, and operational efficiency
Analyze console alerts, error messages, and system logs to ensure platform stability and performance
Support audits, compliance checks, and security control reviews
Maintain operational documentation, reports, and service metrics
Ensure service availability, including monitoring, disaster recovery readiness, and planned maintenance activities
2–3 years of hands-on experience working with Illumio solutions
Proven experience with Illumio VEN installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting
Strong experience managing microsegmentation policies across Linux, Windows, and AIX systems
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and traffic flow analysis
Experience in operational support, run activities, and enterprise security environments
Working knowledge of Python scripting for automation and reporting
Experience supporting production environments with high availability requirements
Ability to participate in audits, operational reviews, and compliance activities
