We are looking for an experienced ABAP Lead with strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), and CDS Views. The role involves leading development activities, designing scalable backend services, and mentoring a team while delivering high-performance SAP solutions using modern ABAP paradigms. The candidate should be comfortable working with OData services and coordinating with functional and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and design ABAP on HANA developments using RAP and CDS
• Architect and develop CDS Views, behavior definitions, and service bindings
• Design, build, and expose OData services for SAP applications
• Guide and mentor ABAP developers; review code and enforce best practices
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure performance optimization and adherence to SAP standards
• Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and project managers
• Handle technical troubleshooting, enhancements, and support activities
Requirements
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA
• Strong expertise in RAP framework and CDS Views
• Solid experience in developing and consuming OData services
• Proven experience in team handling or technical leadership roles
• Good understanding of SAP HANA concepts and performance tuning
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
