ServiceNow ITOM Architect

Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Architect who will be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing enterprise-grade IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB architecture, and integrations, along with strong stakeholder management capabilities. The role requires strategic thinking, hands-on technical depth, and the ability to guide large-scale ServiceNow implementations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end ServiceNow ITOM solutions aligned with business objectives

• Lead implementation of ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB

• Define and govern CMDB data model, relationships, and data quality standards

• Design integration strategies with monitoring tools, cloud platforms, and third-party systems

• Provide architectural guidance to development and implementation teams

• Conduct technical workshops, requirement analysis, and solution blueprinting

• Optimize ITOM performance, scalability, and automation frameworks

• Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices and governance standards

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams for seamless integration

• Support pre-sales solutioning and effort estimation when required

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with strong ServiceNow expertise

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow ITOM Architect or Lead Consultant

• Hands-on experience in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB architecture

• Strong understanding of infrastructure environments (Windows, Linux, Network, Cloud)

• Experience integrating monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SCOM, Dynatrace, etc.)

• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow data model, CI relationships, and CMDB governance

• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide APIs)

• Experience in large-scale enterprise implementations

• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
