IT Governance Analyst

Overview

The IT Governance Analyst – Change Management is responsible for monitoring, enforcing, and continuously improving the organization’s IT change management policies and controls. This role performs daily compliance reviews of change requests, supports the Change Advisory Board (CAB), develops governance reporting dashboards, and ensures audit-ready documentation. The position combines operational oversight with strong reporting, audit, and process optimization capabilities.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily review of new IT change requests to ensure compliance with established change management policies and procedures.
• Enforce documentation standards, risk assessments, approval workflows, and evidence requirements.
• Escalate non-compliant changes and control violations.
• Review and update change management policies, procedures, and workflows in collaboration with IT and governance teams.
• Develop and maintain compliance dashboards and reporting (Power BI) to track change metrics, trends, and control effectiveness.
• Prepare structured documentation and reporting packages for the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining appropriate control evidence.
• Train stakeholders on policy interpretation and compliance expectations.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• Strong knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) or related frameworks within change management.
• Demonstrated IT audit or IT governance/compliance background.
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Experience designing and reporting on compliance metrics.
• Ability to translate complex governance requirements into clear, practical procedures.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and enforcement capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory obligations into practical procedures.
