SAP S/4HANA Service Management Consultant

Overview

The SAP S/4HANA Service Management Consultant will be responsible for implementing and optimizing Service Management (SM) processes in SAP S/4HANA environments. The consultant will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions, ensure seamless integration with related modules, and provide support across the project lifecycle including configuration, testing, deployment, and training.

Experience Range:
6–10 years of overall SAP experience, with at least 4–6 years in SAP S/4HANA Service Management (SM)
✅ Minimum 2–3 full lifecycle S/4HANA SM implementations

Contract Duration: 6 Months
Location: Mason, OH (Onsite) or LATAM (Remote)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA Service Management processes.

  • Customize and enhance Service Management modules — including Service Orders, Service Contracts, Service Billing, and Resource Planning.

  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, define solutions, and manage configurations.

  • Integrate SM with related modules: SD, MM, FI, and CS.

  • Manage defect resolution, system enhancements, and performance improvements.

  • Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Deliver end-user training and prepare functional documentation.

  • Ensure solution compliance with business and technical standards.


Requirements

 

  • Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Service Management (SM) module.

  • Minimum 2–3 end-to-end implementations in S/4HANA SM.

  • Strong understanding of Service Orders, Service Contracts, Billing, and Customer Interaction processes.

  • Exposure to integration with SD, MM, FI, and CS modules.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to interact directly with clients and lead functional discussions.
