We are looking for a ServiceNow Sr. SAM Pro Consultant with 8+ years of experience. The
consultant will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex Software Asset Management (SAM)
solutions. He/She will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable license
positions, navigating complex vendor audits (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, etc.), and maturing the
SAM practice for enterprise-scale clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow SAM Pro solutions.
• Transform raw discovery and entitlement data into Effective License Positions (ELP).
• Manage and support vendor audit responses (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, and other major
publishers).
• Design and implement software normalization and reconciliation processes.
• Drive optimization initiatives to reduce software spend and compliance risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including IT, Procurement, Finance, and Compliance
teams.
• Provide strategic advisory to enhance and mature SAM practices.
• Prepare executive-level dashboards and compliance reports.
• Ensure alignment with ITAM best practices and ServiceNow platform standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8+ years of overall IT experience with strong focus on Software Asset Management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation and configuration.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, etc.).
• Experience handling enterprise-level vendor audits.
• Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and client-facing experience.
• Ability to work independently and lead consulting engagements.
