We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester with 4+ years of experience to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The role involves reviewing system specifications, executing manual and automated test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development and cross-functional teams to improve product quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in automation testing, and a good understanding of QA methodologies and Agile practices.
Role & responsibilities:
1. Review and analyse system specifications.
2. Execute test cases (automated) and analyse results.
3. Evaluate product code according to specifications.
4. Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
5. Report bugs and errors to development teams
6. Help troubleshoot issues.
7. Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
8. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
9. Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans. Skill & qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience in both Manual and automation (like frontend selenium automation, backend newman automation ) (must)
• Experience in automation testing using Jmeter/loadrunner (Added value)
• Experience in any PEN testing tool (Added value)
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Good English skill
