Oracle Cloud Finance - GL/CM/Intercompany

Overview

The Oracle Cloud Finance Consultant (GL/CM/Intercompany) will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Oracle Cloud Financial modules with a focus on General Ledger, Cash Management, and Intercompany accounting. The role involves configuring financial setups, managing journal processes, assisting with period close activities, and supporting financial reporting and integrations within Oracle Cloud Financials.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain General Ledger setups including Ledgers, Chart of Accounts (COA), Calendars, and Currencies.

  • Manage journal processing, approvals, and posting activities in Oracle Cloud GL.

  • Handle intercompany transactions, including processing and balancing across business units.

  • Support period-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial validations.

  • Troubleshoot and support Subledger Accounting (SLA) issues and accounting derivations.

  • Assist with Cash Management processes, including bank account setup and bank statement reconciliation.

  • Perform and monitor allocations, revaluations, and currency translations within the GL module.

  • Generate and support financial reporting using Oracle reporting tools and Smart View.

  • Support data uploads and corrections using ADFdi and FBDI templates.

  • Maintain basic security and role assignments related to finance users.

  • Work with technical teams on integration awareness and support involving Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

  • Assist in troubleshooting finance-related issues and provide user support when required.


Requirements

  • Experience working with Oracle Cloud Financials, particularly General Ledger and Cash Management modules.

  • Understanding of financial accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and period close.

  • Knowledge of intercompany accounting processes and balancing.

  • Familiarity with Subledger Accounting (SLA) concepts and troubleshooting.

  • Experience using ADFdi and FBDI for data uploads and corrections.

  • Understanding of financial reporting tools and Smart View.

  • Basic knowledge of security roles and access management in Oracle Cloud.

  • Awareness of financial system integrations, especially using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to financial data accuracy.
