Overview
We are looking for an experienced Statistical Programmer / Analytics Developer with strong expertise in SAS macro development, clinical programming, and analytics application development to support oncology-focused clinical studies. This role will be responsible for building scalable automation solutions, developing reusable macro frameworks, and driving standardization across multiple studies while ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in advanced SAS programming, preferably within the Oncology therapeutic area, along with exposure to R Shiny or similar tools for application development. This person should also be capable of providing technical leadership, mentoring developers, and collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Description
Requirement -
- Robust expertise in Macro and Application development using SAS, R Shiny, and other programming languages to deliver scalable analytics solutions
- Designed, developed, and maintained enterprise-level macro frameworks to standardize processes across multiple clinical studies, improving efficiency and consistency
- Must have extensive stats programming expertise on Oncology TA studies
- Experience and led development and enhancement of SAS macro-based tools for automation, writing documentation for macros, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Applied advanced macro programming techniques (dynamic code generation, modular design, performance tuning) to optimize large-scale data processing workflows
- Well versed with advanced macro development techniques; Experience with AI agent development is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, provide technical direction to other developers while exploring emerging tools, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills required for the role-
- Strong expertise in SAS programming with advanced macro development experience
- Proven experience supporting Oncology therapeutic area studies
- Hands-on experience with R Shiny or similar application development tools
- Solid understanding of clinical data standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience in developing reusable frameworks and automation solutions
- Exposure to AI-driven tools or agent-based development is a plus
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
