We are looking for an experienced Senior Jira Developer with strong expertise in Jira and Jira Service Management (JSM) to support a short-term, high-impact engagement. The role involves working on a ServiceNow to Jira migration project, ensuring seamless transition, configuration, and optimization of workflows. The ideal candidate should be technically strong, detail-oriented, and available to join immediately for a night shift schedule.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute ServiceNow to Jira migration activities
- Configure and customize Jira and Jira Service Management (JSM) workflows
- Develop and maintain custom scripts, plugins, and integrations within Jira
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Jira solutions
- Ensure data integrity and smooth migration of tickets, workflows, and configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and post migration
- Perform testing and validation of migrated data and workflows
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer post-implementation
Requirements
- 6–10 years of overall IT experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Jira Development and JSM
- Proven experience in ServiceNow to Jira migration projects
- Strong understanding of Jira architecture, workflows, and customization
- Immediate availability is mandatory
- Comfortable working in night shifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, short-term contract environment
