German Language Trainer

Overview

You will be the language training lead for up to 25 nursing candidates per city — taking each batch from A1 through B2 and preparing them for Goethe-Institut or TELC certification before they depart for employment in Germany.

YOU QUALIFY IF

      Your German is C1 minimum — you teach confidently across all four skills to B2 standard

      You have 3+ years teaching German to adult learners in a structured institutional setting

      You know CEFR and can navigate Goethe-Institut or TELC exam standards from a delivery perspective

      You are based in one of the four cities, or can relocate before June 15, 2026

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

      Daily on-site instruction — minimum 4 hours per day across the full A1–B2 curriculum

      Assessment and reporting — weekly internal tests, level gates (≥70%), mock Goethe/TELC exams, level completion reports

      Batch outcomes — B1 pass rate ≥85% and B2 pass rate ≥80% per batch are your primary metrics

      Candidate support — fortnightly one-on-ones, individual remedial plans, and daily WhatsApp follow-up

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Delivery

      Deliver structured German language instruction — minimum 4 hours per day, on-site

      Follow VOICE German™ session plans across all four levels: A1, A2, B1, B2

      Use communicative and immersive methodology: speaking labs, role-plays, listening drills, nursing workplace simulations

      Integrate nursing-specific vocabulary and patient-interaction scenarios throughout every session

      Maintain classroom discipline, attendance, and learner engagement — flag deviations within 24 hours

Assessment & Progress Tracking

      Administer weekly internal assessments; submit progress reports to the Ops Manager and L&D team

      Conduct level-gate assessments at the end of each module — pass mark ≥70%

      Identify at-risk candidates early and raise concerns within 48 hours

      Administer Goethe/TELC mock examinations every 6–8 weeks replicating actual exam conditions

      Submit level completion reports within 3 days of each level gate

Examination Preparation & Candidate Support

      Prepare candidates for Goethe-Institut or TELC B1 certification — B1 pass rate is the primary metric

      Continue preparation through B2 — candidates must be B2-certified before departure

      Design and deliver individual remedial plans for candidates who fail a level exam

      Maintain a WhatsApp batch group for daily vocabulary sharing and homework follow-up

      Conduct fortnightly one-on-one check-ins with struggling candidates

REQUIREMENTS

Essential

      German C1 minimum — confident and accurate across all four skills, capable of teaching to B2 standard

      Minimum 3 years teaching German to adult learners in a structured institutional setting

      Familiarity with CEFR levels and Goethe-Institut or TELC examination standards from a delivery perspective

      Strong spoken German — this is a high-contact speaking role

      Professional English proficiency for internal reporting and coordination

      Based locally or willing to relocate before June 15, 2026

Preferred

      Experience teaching German to healthcare professionals or candidates preparing for international employment

      Exposure to Goethe-Institut or TELC examination preparation as a trainer

      Basic working knowledge of nursing or healthcare German vocabulary

      Experience with MIS reporting, attendance systems, or digital learning tools
