Design and maintain scalable, high-performance schemas in MSSQL, Redshift, and Snowflake.
Build, monitor, and maintain ETL/data pipelines ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Optimize queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies for large data sets.
Manage data refresh SLAs, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and analytics teams to align data models with business requirements.
Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement performance improvements proactively.
Oversee schema migrations, versioning, and CI/CD integrations.
Define and enforce data governance, access control, and observability best practices.
8+ years in database engineering or backend data systems.
4+ years hands-on experience with AWS, Redshift, Snowflake, and T-SQL.
Strong understanding of relational modeling, schema design, and data partitioning.
Proven ability to build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing.
Proficiency in source control (Git/Bitbucket) and CI/CD workflows.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
