Senior ServiceNow Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in ITOM, ITSM, and platform integrations to join our team on a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) basis. The role requires a developer who can lead design, customization, and integration efforts within the ServiceNow ecosystem, ensuring seamless operation and performance across modules.
This position is night shift aligned (PST/EST) and requires immediate availability.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.

  • Lead module configuration and development across ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Integration Hub) and ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Knowledge).

  • Drive ServiceNow platform upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST APIs, web services, and scripting (JavaScript, Glide, Jelly).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, perform technical analysis, and implement scalable solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex ServiceNow issues to ensure stability and reliability.

  • Maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and best practices.

  • Ensure full compliance with ITIL and organizational standards during solution delivery.


Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience (not just administration).

  • Proven expertise in ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Integration Hub) and ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, Request) modules.

  • Strong scripting and development skills in JavaScript, Glide, and REST API integrations.

  • Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades, workflow automation, and integrations.

  • Sound knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise service management practices.

  • Ability to work in Night Shift (PST/EST) timezone.

  • Immediate to 10 days notice period preferred.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
