Senior Data Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, integrating, and optimizing data pipelines using Azure services. This role requires deep technical proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Synapse, PySpark, and SQL, along with strong data orchestration capabilities. A DP-600 certification is mandatory.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and data integration workflows.

• Work extensively with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse, and PySpark to build scalable ETL/ELT processes.

• Write optimized SQL queries for data transformation and performance improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources.

• Ensure data reliability, scalability, and performance across pipelines.

• Implement CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps for data solutions.

• Leverage Microsoft Fabric (preferred) for unified analytics and pipeline orchestration.

• Troubleshoot data issues, optimize workflows, and ensure high-quality data delivery.

• Follow best practices in data governance, security, and documentation.

📌 Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Azure Data Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse, PySpark, SQL queries

• Good understanding of:

  • Azure DevOps

• Preferred experience with:

  • Microsoft Fabric

• DP-600 certification (required).

• Strong experience in data integration, transformation, and orchestration.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
