Business Development Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to drive revenue growth in the IT service industry.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our managed services portfolio across target markets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Sales

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in IT Services
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for managed services offerings.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Managers, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
  • Understand client pain points and propose customized managed services solutions.

Solution & Proposal Management

  • Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to design service proposals.
  • Prepare pricing models, proposals, and contracts aligned with client requirements.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders effectively.

Market & Account Development

  • Research market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with delivery, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to leadership.
 

Skills & Requirements

  • Market research and obtaining key insights on industries and geographies to target.
  • Lead generation through social media platforms
  • Ability to work on multiple lead generation tools at the same time
  • Responsible for Email Campaigning activities
  • Building a lead database on a daily target basis
  • Maintaining and Segmenting leads and subscriber database
  • Expertise with Excel and other office tools
  • Exceptional communication skills in English
  • Must have experience working with IT/ITes organizations
  • Need to proactively work across time zones to drive sales
  • Above all, should have a "whatever it takes to get the job done" mindset
