Overview

We are currently seeking a talented Windows Server Administrator to join our team. As a Windows Server Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Windows server infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include managing virtualized environments, ensuring efficient patch management, monitoring system performance, and addressing networking-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in Windows server administration, along with expertise in virtualization technologies, patch management, and network troubleshooting.

Job Description

  1. Windows Server Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows server environments to support organizational requirements. Ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of Windows servers.

  2. Virtualization Technologies: Manage virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure Virtual Server Management. Provision virtual machines, allocate resources, and optimize performance to meet business needs.

  3. Patch Management: Implement effective patch management strategies to ensure that Windows servers are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates. Schedule and deploy patches in a timely manner to minimize vulnerabilities.

  4. Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM): Utilize RMM tools, such as Ninja RMM, to monitor server health, performance, and security. Proactively respond to alerts and notifications to prevent system downtime and optimize server reliability.

  5. Backup and Recovery: Implement backup solutions using Veeam to protect critical data and ensure business continuity. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to mitigate the impact of system failures or data loss.

  6. Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Utilize PRTG Monitoring to monitor network infrastructure and identify potential issues or bottlenecks. Troubleshoot networking-related issues, including connectivity problems, DNS resolution, and firewall configurations.

  7. Incident Management: Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking and resolution. Respond to service requests and incidents related to Windows server administration promptly and effectively.
