Linux Server Administrator – Data Center & Web Hosting Engineer

Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Linux Server Administrator with hands-on experience in web hosting and data center (DC) operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong foundational knowledge in Linux system administration and be proficient in managing hosting control panels, virtualization technologies, and hardware-level configurations.

Job Description

• Manage and support web hosting environments including WHM/cPanel and Plesk (optional)

• Configure and maintain DNS, MySQL databases, and secure shell (SSH) access

• Monitor, detect, and mitigate DDoS attacks using firewall and iptables configurations

• Configure and manage various RAID levels (Software and Hardware)

• Implement and manage LVM (Logical Volume Manager)

• Work with virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V

• Use IPMI/KVM tools for remote management and troubleshooting

• Perform OS installations for Windows and various Linux distributions

• Manage filesystem and partitioning tasks efficiently

• Oversee network setup and configuration

• Handle hardware configuration, CPU optimization, and performance tuning

• Troubleshoot hardware-related issues in data center environments
