The Manager, Communications and Engagement will lead a high-performing communications team to drive organization Corporation’s digital transformation agenda through its Global Capability Center (GCC). This role combines strategic leadership, expertise in internal and external communications, thought leadership, and industry engagement to foster innovation, enhance employee and stakeholder alignment, and amplify the GCC’s contributions. The Senior Manager will work closely with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to deliver impactful communication strategies that position organization as a leader in technology and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Provide strategic direction and ensure the team’s efforts align with organization digital transformation goals and global communications strategy.
Establish team priorities, oversee project timelines, and manage resources to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Build and maintain a center of excellence for communications within the GCC, leveraging best practices and driving continuous improvement.
Strategic Communications and Thought Leadership
Partner with senior executives to craft and execute strategic communication plans that articulate organization’s digital transformation vision.
Drive the creation of thought leadership content, including white papers, articles, and keynote presentations, positioning Organization as an innovator in the digital space.
Represent the GCC’s achievements at industry events and forums, building credibility and reinforcing Organization’s leadership position.
Cultivate relationships with industry influencers, analysts, and partners to amplify Organization’s brand and reputation.
Internal Communications and Employee Engagement
Develop and implement internal communication strategies that enhance employee alignment, engagement, and understanding of digital transformation initiatives.
Oversee the creation and management of communication channels, such as intranets, newsletters, and interactive platforms, ensuring consistent messaging.
Plan and execute large-scale engagement activities, including town halls, innovation showcases, and cultural events, to foster collaboration and inclusivity.
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, ensuring their communications are impactful and resonate with diverse, global audiences.
External Communications and Public Relations
Lead external communication efforts to highlight the GCC’s contributions to Organization’s global innovation strategy.
Manage relationships with media outlets, analysts, and external stakeholders to secure thought leadership opportunities and promote Organization’s achievements.
Content Development and Digital Storytelling
Guide the creation of high-quality, multi-format content (written, visual, and multimedia) for internal and external audiences.
Oversee the development of white papers, case studies, and success stories that showcase the GCC’s impact on Organization’s digital transformation.
Maintain a content calendar aligned with business objectives, ensuring timely and relevant communication delivery.
Industry Engagement and Events
Lead Organization’s participation in industry events, ensuring alignment with key digital transformation narratives and goals.
Oversee the planning and execution of flagship events, such as thought leadership forums and industry roundtables, to enhance Organization’s brand visibility.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
15+ years in corporate communications, with experience leading teams in Global Capability Centers or technology-driven organizations.
Proven track record in managing communication strategies for large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft and deliver strategic narratives.
Proficiency in leveraging digital tools and platforms for communication and storytelling.
