We are looking for an experienced Sr Quality Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in validating data transformations, file processing (CSV, JSON, XML), and executing SQL queries. You will be responsible for testing ETL processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, identifying and resolving defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile or Waterfall environments. Experience with tools like Jira, JMeter, Selenium, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Role Description:
Analyze, test, and validate ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and SQL queries to validate data transformations.
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems.
Validate incremental and full-load data processing.
Validate inbound and outbound file processing (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.).
Perform integrity checks to ensure completeness and correctness of processed files.
Monitor and troubleshoot file ingestion failures.
Ensure successful integration of files into databases.
Must have :
Good knowledge on Testing process.
Good Knowledge on SQL.
Strong knowledge on SDLC/STLC Bug life cycle.
Strong knowledge on Agile Scrum methodology.
Should have knowledge on API testing (Postman/REST).
Knowledge on BOS or CRM's based validations.
Technical Competencies:
Hands-on experience with ETL testing tools.
Strong SQL skills.
Experience with file processing (CSV, XML, JSON) and data validation techniques.
Familiarity with scripting languages.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Soft Skill Competencies:
Ability to analyze large datasets and identify inconsistencies.
Quick troubleshooting of ETL failures and file processing issues.
Clearly explains data issues, test results, and defects to developers, data engineers, and stakeholders.
Documents test cases, findings, and reports in an understandable manner
Works closely with developers, business analysts, and database administrators to resolve issues.
Coordinates with cross-functional teams in Agile or Waterfall environments.
Any Other competencies:
Experience working in agile development environments.
Experience in Jira, QATouch etc.
Experience in Jmeter, Selenium will be an add on.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks as per project needs.
