Looking for a Firmware/Embedded Engineer to work on a medical imaging device involving optical and ultrasound imaging. The role involves integrating AR1335 sensor with AP1302 ISP and CX3 bridge to deliver compressed video streams with good resolution and FPS over limited USB2 bandwidth. Candidate should be able to work with limited documentation and adapt from publicly available examples.
Our current camera system is more of a black-box, using OnSemi AP1302 ISP with a precompiled “bootdata” file (~80 KB). Documentation and debug options are very limited.
Medical Device (optical + ultrasound imaging).
Chipset: AR1335 sensor → AP1302 ISP → CX3 bridge → USB2 host.
Goal: Compressed video stream with good resolution and FPS via limited USB2 bandwidth.
Challenge: Limited OnSemi documentation.
