We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with 10+ years of hands-on testing experience, specializing in manual testing of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in test strategy, database testing, API testing, and modern QA practices, along with hands-on experience using AI tools and prompt engineering to enhance testing efficiency and quality.
This role requires a strong individual contributor who can independently drive quality initiatives while also guiding QA processes, mentoring team members when needed, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The QA Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities, ensuring the successful delivery of web and mobile applications with minimal defects.
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, TestNG, etc.).
Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, including functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Develop, manage, and execute test scenarios across multiple devices and platforms (Android, iOS, web).
Ensure testing covers the full spectrum: usability, performance, security, and compatibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
Identify, report, and track defects, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
Work with the development team to prioritize issues and ensure they are addressed before releases.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality.
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and techniques to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Manual Testing: Expertise in SDLC, STLC, functional, regression, UAT, crossbrowser, and mobile testing.
SQL & Database Testing: Proficiency in SQL for backend validation, data verification, and writing complex queries
API Testing: Skilled in testing RESTful APIs, GraphQL with Postman, RestAssured, and scripting in JavaScript/Python.
AI Tools and Technologies: Comprehensive knowledge of AI technologies,proven experience working with AI models, and strong prompting skills to effectively leverage AI-driven solutions.
Performance Testing: Experience with JMeter, Gatling, and k6 for load and performance testing.
Test Management: Proficient in JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr for defect tracking and writing clear bug reports.
CI/CD Integration: Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker for test automation.
Mobile-Specific Testing: Knowledge of real devices, simulators, XCUITest, Espresso, deep linking, and push notifications.
Security & Compliance: Understanding of OWASP Top 10, security principles, and compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001.
Required Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong self-learning mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes, and a confident approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Preferred Experience:
Cloud & Test Environment: Exposure to AWS Device Farm, LambdaTest,and containerized testing with Docker/Kubernetes.
AI/ML in Testing: Familiar with AI-powered tools like Testim, Mabl, and Applitools for test automation.
Test Automation (Web & Mobile): Proficient in Selenium, Appium, JavaScript, Python, Java, Playwright, and Cypress.
Accessibility Testing: Familiar with WCAG, ARIA roles, and accessibility tools like Axe and WAVE.
Agile & Collaboration: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, with tools like JIRA, Slack, and Git for version control.
Work Estimations & Strategic Insight: Proven experience in providing accurate work estimations and applying strategic insight to align design efforts with broader organizational goals and objectives.
