We are looking for an experienced Google Workspace Automation & Data Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise transformation program. The role focuses on migrating legacy Excel/VBA-based processes to modern, cloud-native solutions using Google Workspace, BigQuery, AppSheet, and Google Apps Script.
You will work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and citizen developers to design, build, and govern scalable automation, reporting, and workflow solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have:
Minimum 6+ years of relevant hands-on experience delivering automation, data, and workflow solutions in enterprise environments.
Strong experience with Google Apps Script (V8)
Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets, formulas, and large data handling
Hands-on experience with BigQuery (datasets, views, SQL optimization)
Experience building AppSheet apps and automations
Solid understanding of REST APIs and JSON payloads
Experience migrating or modernizing Excel/VBA-based solutions
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good-to-Have
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (IAM, Secrets, monitoring concepts)
Knowledge of enterprise data governance and access control models
Experience working with citizen developers and business-owned solutions
Familiarity with Agile / Kanban delivery models
Prior experience in large enterprise transformation or migration programs
