Senior SFMC Developer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer/Consultant. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SFMC development and consulting, with proven experience across Email Studio, Mobile Connect (SMS/Push), Advertising Studio, and Frontend development for personalized and responsive customer experiences.

Job Description

6 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (with frontend, MCP and ad-studio experience)            

Salesforce Marketing Cloud development - MCE & MCP                        

Contact Builder relational data model configuration                                 

SQL-based query activities for audience segmentation, reporting, and data extracts                                                 

Designing and creating automations via Automation Studio                     

Content Builder dynamic email creation                                                   

REST support for leveraging Marketing Cloud web service to transfer data into journeys and data extensions            

Building triggered sends, journeys, and automations                               

Landing page and web form creation via Cloud Pages                            

Experience with working in Agile methodology, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.      

Strong communicational skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Duties to be performed:

Participate in agile delivery activities such as design, estimating, retrospectives and continuous improvement

Create SQL-based query activities for audience segmentation and reporting

Email & Cloud Pages Coding

Provide Front-end html, JavaScript, and coding support of Cloud Pages and ideally for template-based emails

Use Contact Builder & data relationships to organize data

Ampscript coding knowledge in support of complex dynamic emails

Familiarity with SSJS + Automation Studio to make API calls

Experience in Automation Studio for file imports inclusive of encryption/decryption

Provide REST support for leveraging SFMC web service to

Trigger communications, journeys, and automations

Transfer data into journeys and data extensions

Retrieve data from extract tables

Expand utilization of SFMC REST web service

Familiar with Salesforce connectors (marketing for service/SFCC cartridge)

Work with Predictive Intelligence / Einstein

Product & Content Recommendations

Capture relevant technical and business requirements, analysing inputs and creating Salesforce Marketing Cloud solution recommendations

Create, manage, and present an actionable Blueprint that aligns a customer's business needs to the recommended 

Salesforce Marketing Cloud solution

Manage support cases with Salesforce or a Managed Service Provider to ensure availability of the SFMC platform, providing on-call support to resolve application issues when necessary

Contributes project artifacts to architecture repositories and ensures ongoing maintenance

Manage working relationship with Business Super Users for respective process

Troubleshooting campaign technical and functional issues
