As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be the subject matter expert for mobile testing, responsible for the end-to-end quality of our mobile applications. You will focus on building scalable automation solutions and providing guidance to the engineering team to ensure high-velocity delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Framework Development: Architect and maintain a reusable mobile automation framework using WebdriverIO and Appium.
Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, conducting code reviews and sharing best practices for JavaScript automation.
Sprint Execution: Target the automation of all critical (P1/P2) flows within the active sprint cycle.
N+1 Strategy: Manage the automation backlog by ensuring any pending scenarios from the current sprint are prioritized and completed by the N+1 sprint deadline.
Platform Mastery: Ensure identical functionality and UI parity across iOS and Android platforms through robust script design.
Required Experience
4-7 years of professional experience in mobile application automation.
Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and hands-on experience with WebdriverIO and Appium.
Strong understanding of mobile-specific locators (Accessibility IDs, Predicates) and mobile UX standards.
