As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be the technical anchor for our web and backend testing strategies. You will design sophisticated automation solutions that bridge the gap between user interfaces and complex API layers, ensuring the framework remains modular and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
Framework Design: Architect and enhance a unified automation framework for UI and API testing using JavaScript (WebdriverIO/Playwright).
Polyglot Adaptation: Demonstrate the capability to adapt and contribute to automation efforts in other programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) based on project needs.
Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring high standards in code quality and testing logic.
API Strategy: Design and manage automated suites for REST and SOAP services, focusing on data-driven testing and service-level validation.
Automation Leadership: Oversee the development of critical automation flows, ensuring technical debt is managed and the framework evolves with new technologies.
Required Experience
5-8 years of professional experience in UI and API automation.
Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming.
Proven experience with SOAP/XML and RESTful API testing tools.
Strong critical thinking skills to manage and execute automation scripts in the most efficient manner.
