Experienced in managing end-to-end US payroll operations, including payroll processing, validations, tax compliance, reporting, and issue resolution. Skilled in handling payroll transitions, testing, and supporting audits while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for US payroll
Perform pre-payroll validation, payroll execution, and post-payroll reconciliation
Handle retro calculations, off-cycle payments, and adjustments
Ensure accurate tax calculations, statutory compliance, and filings
Post payroll results to Finance/General Ledger
Support data migration, payroll balances validation, and YTD reconciliation
Conduct parallel payroll runs, unit testing, and UAT support
Troubleshoot payroll issues and resolve discrepancies
Provide ongoing support during payroll cycles and audits.
Functional Expertise:
US Payroll:
○ Federal & State taxes (FIT, FICA, FUTA, SUTA)
○ W-2, 941 filings, garnishments, benefits (401k, FSA, etc.)
○ Multi-state payroll compliance and tax reconciliation
Skills & Requirements:
Strong experience in SAP HCM Payroll (US )
Good understanding of statutory compliance and payroll regulations
Experience with payroll testing, integrations, and reporting
Ability to work in client-specific time zones (US )
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
