We are seeking experienced Azure-focused Application Support Engineers to join our project team. The primary responsibility will be to support, maintain, and enhance applications deployed on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Azure services, strong troubleshooting skills, and working knowledge of Java and .NET applications to provide quick fixes and ensure system stability.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day operational support for applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Azure services, application performance, and integrations.
Perform quick fixes and small enhancements in Java and .NET-based applications when required.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment, scaling, and maintenance of applications on Azure.
Ensure compliance with best practices for cloud security, scalability, and performance optimization.
Document technical issues, solutions, and create knowledge base/runbooks for recurring incidents.
Participate in on-call or after-hours support as needed for critical issues.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of professional experience in application support, cloud operations, or related roles.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services such as:
○ Azure App Services
○ Azure Functions
○ Azure SQL / Cosmos DB
○ Azure Storage
○ Azure Active Directory
○ Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging)
Proficiency in Java and .NET for debugging and implementing minor fixes.
Good understanding of application lifecycle management and cloud deployment strategies.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
Knowledge of incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
