IT Support Engineer

Overview

IT Junior Support Engineer responsible for asset management, employee onboarding/offboarding, helpdesk operations, network troubleshooting, vendor coordination, IT audits, and maintaining IT infrastructure and documentation to ensure smooth business operations.

Job Description

Responsibilites:

Asset Management:- Manage procurement, inventory, insurance, allocation, deallocation/handover, courier, repair, software installation, OS installation.

Employee On/Off Boarding:- Manage asset allocation, asset handover, asset data management, data reset & deletion etc.

Vendor Management:- Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and quality services.

Troubleshooting:- Manage internet ports, switches, routers, wifi, access points, LAN, WAN, VPN Tools, Printer, RFID, Biometric, CCTV & NVR devices.

Helpdesk:- Must be familiar with any ticketing system and knows the workflow of it.

Audits:- Making sure of smooth functioning and authenticity of every process by planning audits of every function and process of the department and providing the reports to management.

Reports & Documentation:- Create respective reports and share it with management. Maintain proper documentation of every function and process of IT.

Required Skills:

Proven experience as an IT Junior Support Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of IT best practices.

In-depth knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with new technologies and industry trends.
