Validating the design maturity of automotive components domains such as BIW, chassis & interior using CAD (computer-aided design), tce vismockup, and PLM (product lifecycle management)
Key Responsibilities:
To Perform the design maturity assessments on one of these domains in BIW, Chassis and Interior.
Clash Detection and Analysis in both Static and Dynamic. As per Clearance Standards and CS Routing
Model Integrity Check (Positioning, Missing models, Variant issues
Complete the checks and deliver the reports on time with respect to program timelines.
Work with cross-functional teams and close the registered issues on time.
Follow the quality standards and regulatory requirements as per Stellantis.
Suspension kinematics mechanism creation and motion simulation for clearance check.
Perform CN sweeps based on technical solution.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Coordination: Highlight your approach to coordinating efforts across different Counterparts to ensure consistent assessment standards and timelines.
Managing Conflicts: Resolving conflicts within teams or between different functional groups in the design process requires a thoughtful and proactive approach.
Decision Making: Handling discrepancies or issues during a GA check requires a calm and methodical approach to ensure fairness and accuracy.
Reporting: Outline your strategy for reporting assessment findings and progress to senior management and project stakeholders.
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (INDICATIVE):
Productivity: Monitor the productivity of the GA team in terms of the number of assessments completed per unit of time.
Accuracy: Measure the accuracy of geometric assessments conducted by your team against established design standards and specifications.
Timeliness: Ensure assessments are completed within agreed timelines to support project schedules and milestones.
Quality and Reporting: Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of feedback provided to design teams based on assessment findings.
Efficiency: Improve the efficiency of assessment processes, reducing cycle times and optimizing resource utilization.
