The HR Tech Application Support Analyst is responsible for the day to day support, planning for releases and upgrades and managing projects/enhancements for assigned HR system(s)/module(s). Provides strategic and tactical consultation and input on design options supporting processes/transactions. Plans with Functional Owners, Release Management and OCM to align resources and scope to milestones. Engaging and hands on leader with system expertise and experience.
II. Skills Required
Experienced in Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll functionalities, with hands-on expertise in areas like payroll processing, tax calculations, benefits integration, and reporting for US and Canada legislation, especially.
Must have a strong track record of delivering Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, including extensive experience in the areas of business process analysis, requirement definition and solution design.
Has good knowledge on HDL’s, Workflows, SQL, OTBI, fast Formulas, eligibility profiles.
Has good knowledge on US Payroll, US Taxation, US Legislation.
III. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
Reviews open cases/issues and troubleshoots or engage with other tech team members for resolution. Coordinates with vendors regarding required support by opening tickets, escalating and following up as required.
Functional troubleshooting in Oracle Fusion Payroll module to identify setup or data issues and resolve the issues using the analytical skills in minimum turnaround time.
Reviews release notes on vendor-published sites to keep current and recommend solutions to resolve issues
Consults on requested configuration changes, partnering with the team to determine best options for design decisions based on documented requirements, current configuration, and downstream impacts. Documents final specs and configures application.
Analyzes the impact of configuration from foundational structures to Fast Formulas and extensions to HR service delivery and downstream systems and integrations.
Leads meetings to resolve priority issues of moderate complexity.
Ensures data integrity and governance by supporting large/complex data imports and extracts and validating accuracy through reporting and queries. Supports the development and maintenance of integrations/file transfers.
Provides analysis and consultation on implementing new software application products or new modules in existing applications.
Executes unit, integration, and acceptance testing. May support functional team with required screenshots and system steps for testing and change management.
May be responsible for configuring and delivering moderate to complex reports and queries utilizing delivered software. Follows established data governance.
Documents all configurations and supports the creation of change migration documentation.
Assist (after initial Tier 0/1 attempt) in resolving User “How To” questions and help to create relevant job aids/learning/communications
IV Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience: Five (5) years of HR Technology support experience, leading Service Delivery and managing vendor relationships (in addition to education requirement)

HR Technology support experience: Track record of administrative, upgrading and enhancing HR system solutions.
The successful candidate will have experience across several technologies including – HCM Oracle cloud (Core HR,
ORC, Talent Management, OLC, Compensation & Payroll) , OTBI , BIP , Fast formulas, HCM Extracts, BPM worklist.
Candidate will have good understanding of integration aspects and troubleshooting the same.
