Job Description

Job Summary:

As a NetApp Oracle Finance Functional Lead, you are part of a team of professionals who plan, manage, and deliver Oracle cloud implementation project to meet defined deliverables, processes, and tools as per Global Design Project.Implement Oracle Cloud products across various finance functions including requirement gathering, configuration, CRP / Prototype, Training, Data Migration and Documentation. Operate in a cross functional role and may have specific expertise in functional areas such as Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Fixed Assets, Finance close and consolidation etc. As a senior professional and a subject matter Expert, you will need excellent negotiation skills for leading cross-functional teams, proven project management experience, and strong technical skills to be successful in this role.

Specific responsibilities of the Oracle Finance Functional Lead position include:

Experience in Oracle Fusion Financial End to End Implementations both Cloud ERP and EPM, including requirement gathering, configuration, CRP / Prototype, Training, Data Migration and Documentation.

Implementation of modules namely GL, AP, Expenses, FA, CM, Intercompany, Tax, SLA in Cloud ERP and FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS in Oracle Cloud EPM.

Should understand business requirements, fit-gap analysis, and preparation of functional design documents.

Should be able to manage the Finance track independently, interact with functions, conduct business requirements and training sessions, etc.

Should conduct CRP, UAT & SIT sessions with stakeholders.

Experience in implementing financials cloud, configuring workflows, issue resolution and customization across all finance modules.

Solid understanding of Enterprises Structure, COA, Structure, and Hierarchies, Flex fields, extensions set up in Fusion Financials.

Experience in working with Oracle support for various issue resolutions.

Experience in various financial data upload/migration technique (FBDI & ADFDi) and related issue resolutions.

Reporting (Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), SmartView, OTBI) etc.

Experience in supporting Period closure activities.

Knowledge on tax (Withholding and Transaction tax) setups.

Experience in reconciliation financial data between GL and Subledger modules.

High-level Knowledge of end-to-end integrations of Financials modules with other modules like Projects/Procurement/SCM/HCM.

High-level Knowledge of other fusion modules (SCM or PPM) functionality is a plus.

Requirements:

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.

Ability to conduct user workshops, define requirements, estimate, assess and plan projects, write use and business cases, and design workflow processes. 

Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, relevant Finance business process 

Experience in business process re-engineering methods.

Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and utilizing project management applications.

Creative approach to problem solving.

This individual must work effectively with Staff to senior management level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties. 

Limited supervision is provided, as this individual can operate, drive results, and set priorities independently. 

The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter Lead.

To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through leadership and influencing multiple individuals and groups.

Often acts as mentor or facilitator. 

Education & Experience:

Qualification: A Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance is preferred.

Experience of at least 10 years in ERP Finance Domain (Oracle EBS, Fusion and EPM) and Specific Fusion Experience of 2+ implementation cycles.

Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex projects.
