Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop cloud-based solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform services.
Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in cloud computing and GCP services.
Evaluate new GCP services and technologies to drive innovation and improve system performance.
Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to comprehend needs and optimize GCP cloud performance.
Offer technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering innovation and continuous development in GCP Cloud projects.
Experience:
Over 10 years of experience, with 4+ years in the Lead Engineer, Cloud Architect, or similar role, and 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform technology stack
Expert knowledge of GCP services and cloud architecture such as Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Composer
Strong understanding of GCP Networking, Security and Compliance.
Skilled in Python or Java.
Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
Solid understanding of Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Bigtable, Firestore, MongoDB, Cassandra etc.).
Proficient in DevOps and SRE practices including CI/CD, Scripting and Test Automation, Observability tools such as ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus etc.
GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desired.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Strong abilities in communication and collaboration.
