Job Purpose :
Setup automatic end-to-end collection, transformation, and data processing using ETL and REST APIs.
Business Intelligence design and implementation, ideally with the leading technologies such as Tableau, Qlik or Microsoft Power BI.
Experience in SQL and Relational Database development, ideally SQL-Server and/or Oracle.
Desired Skills and experience :
Candidates should have a STEM degree or a comparable qualification in a related field.
Candidates should have 5-7 years development experience in building high-performance data engineering processes.
5+ years of experience with data engineering concepts for automatic end-to-end collection, transformation,and data processing using ETL and REST APIs at top tier firms.
5+ years of experience in SQL and Relational Database development, ideally SQL-Server and/or Oracle.
5+ years of Business Intelligence design and implementation, ideally with the leading technologies such as Tableau, Qlik or Microsoft Power BI.
Experience in system development using major OOP languages such as Java, .Net, and C # in a major financial organization is a plus.
Experience programming in Python is a plus.
Experience in various system implementation p projects is a plus.
Experience with using some of the following third-party applications or equivalents: Bloomberg, Tableau, Qlik,Microsoft Power BI, FactSet.
Proven ability to adapt to changes in requirements and learn new tools and practices where needed.
Proven ability to describe understand how one’s work fits into the bigger picture.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong track record of excellent results delivered to internal or external clients.
Ability to work with minimal supervision yet integrate appropriately with the Implementation Services team.

Key Responsibilities
A candidate will be responsible for delivery of work including:
Interpret business requirements, either gathered or acquired.
Work with internal resources as well as application vendors.
Setup automatic end-to-end collection, transformation, and data processing using ETL and REST APIs.
Develop ETL processes for data warehousing, data integration and data analytics.
Designing and developing enterprise-wide ETL solutions for reporting.
Reviewing and analysing data from multiple internal and external sources.
Identify opportunities for efficiencies and innovative approaches to completing scope of work.
Defining relevant ETL standards, processes, and best practices.
Designing, developing and maintaining ETL solutions.
Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues.
Query writing skills with ability to understand and implement changes to SQL functions and stored procedures.
