We are hiring Progress 4GL Developers to support a UK-based utility client as part of an offshore application development team. The role involves working across application enhancements, defect fixes, investigations, testing, and documentation in a collaborative delivery environment.
This position is ideal for developers with strong hands-on experience in Progress OpenEdge / 4GL and related technologies, looking to work on enterprise utility systems.
Develop and enhance applications using Progress 4GL / OpenEdge
Handle system enhancements, bug fixes, and technical investigations
Participate in unit and integration testing
Prepare and maintain technical documentation
Take part in team meetings, code reviews, and walkthroughs
Collaborate with onshore and offshore stakeholders
Education:
UG: B.Tech / B.E. (Any specialization)
PG: M.Tech / MCA (Preferred, not mandatory)
Experience:
3–5 years of relevant Progress 4GL development experience
Domain:
Utilities sector experience is an advantage
Strong communication and documentation skills
