We are looking for AI Engineer Researcher to drive core intelligence across CraftifAI’s Orbit suite, with a focus on building efficient, production-grade agentic AI systems.
This role will be central to advancing our capabilities in model efficiency, domain-specific training, and scalable deployment of SLMs (Small Language Models) across multiple industry verticals such as robotics, industrial automation, and edge AI.
The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of applied research and real-world systems, owning efforts across data strategy, model architecture, fine-tuning pipelines, and evaluation frameworks. They will play a key role in optimizing agent performance (latency, accuracy, cost), enabling reliable spec-to-system generation workflows, and ensuring models are deeply aligned with hardware and embedded environments.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to translate cutting-edge research into deployable intelligence for the physical world, shaping how AI operates beyond the cloud, directly on devices, systems, and infrastructure.
