Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performing backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, RESTful services, and microservices architecture, along with hands-on experience in cloud-native development and DevOps practices.
The role requires an independent contributor who can build robust APIs, mentor team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality software following modern engineering best practices.
Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs following industry best practices.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures for enterprise-grade applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern Python development practices.
- Develop and execute automated unit and integration tests using Pytest.
- Ensure applications comply with security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices through knowledge sharing.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
