Manhattan Active WMS Consultant / Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manhattan Active WMS Consultant / Engineer with 3–5 years of relevant experience to support configuration, testing, enhancement, and production-related activities for Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System (MAWM).

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the latest version of Manhattan Active WMS and a strong understanding of warehouse management processes. The role will involve testing new enhancements, configuring the WMS solution, validating production scenarios, and working closely with functional and technical teams to ensure the system meets business and operational requirements.

This is an Individual Contributor role requiring strong hands-on technical and functional capabilities.

 

Job Description

Manhattan Active WMS

• Work on Manhattan Active WMS (MAWM) configuration and enhancement activities.
• Configure Manhattan Active WMS based on business and warehouse process requirements.
• Analyze existing WMS configurations and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support implementation of new features, enhancements, and system changes.
• Work with the latest available version of Manhattan Active WMS.
• Understand warehouse management processes and translate business requirements into system configurations.

Testing & Validation

• Design and execute test scenarios for new WMS enhancements and configurations.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Validate end-to-end warehouse processes in Manhattan Active WMS.
• Create and execute test cases based on business requirements and production scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities.
• Perform regression testing after system enhancements and configuration changes.

Production & Warehouse Scenarios

• Understand and validate real-world warehouse and distribution center scenarios.
• Troubleshoot issues related to WMS configuration and business processes.
• Analyze production issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Support testing of critical production scenarios and operational workflows.
• Ensure changes do not negatively impact existing warehouse processes.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Collaborate with business users, warehouse operations teams, functional consultants, developers, and QA teams.
• Participate in requirement discussions and solution design sessions.
• Document configurations, test scenarios, defects, and resolutions.
• Support knowledge transfer and maintain relevant project documentation.
• Participate in project meetings, status updates, and technical discussions.
